The lodge has an outdoor heated swimming pool. This location is ideal for visiting the many famous attractions of the Lake District. We are ideally situated. Just a short walk down Longtail Hill you will find the lake and the marina where there are lovely views and a bistro bar. There are also several excellent restaurants within five minutes walk from the Lodge. A few minutes more will take you to Bowness Bay where you can take a cruise or hire a selection of small boats. In Bowness village there are many restaurants, shops, public houses, a cinema, a theatre and other attractions. An all-weather leisure environment, Parklands Country Club has something for everyone. The club incorporates a swimming pool with children's area, spa bath, sauna, steam room and jet showers. There is a badminton court, squash court and gymnasium. On the first floor is a comprehensive club lounge and bar, two full size snooker tables, solarium and viewing galleries overlooking the badminton and squash courts and the swimming pool.
